Please See the full t&c below.We like to be totaly transparent from the moment you consider booking one of our Luxury Motorhomes, so that you can have a clear understanding on how to avoid any deductions from the Security deposit.Its quite simple, look after the interior and exterior, enjoy you holiday and return the vehicle in the same condition as it was supplied.We have had many happy customers who look after the Motorhome and have left excellent reviews.
The rule of law for these terms and conditions are the United Kingdom laws and apply to all citizens of any country hiring our vehicles.Terms & Conditions for hireThe term ‘YOU’ is the driver, hirer in these terms and conditions.The term ‘WE ‘’ is Roller Motorhome Hire or the owner of the vehicle.1By hiring a vehicle from Roller hire, you accept our terms and conditions as set out below.2) If you or a 3rd party damage the vehicle inside or outside, the cost of the repair by an authorised Rollerteam Motorhome dealer will be deducted from the deposit. The cost of transporting the vehicle to and from the dealership will also be deducted as well. There will be a £80 admin charge to you, for us obtaining the estimate for the repair. If the damage caused by your hire affects a booking for the same vehicle that prevents the next hirer hiring the vehicle, we may need to charge you for any fees we may incur by our partners who advertise and hire our vehicles to there clients
We will confirm the amount due back to you from your secuirty deposit in a time frame of no greater than 4 months from the hire start date.3) If any equipment like bikes, tables or chairs that been additionally hired or supplied are damaged. You will be liable for the cost of the replacement item. The cost will be deducted from the Security deposit.4) If the cost of repair on the exterior of the motorhome or 3rd party vehicle due to an automotive accident ( vehicle in motion ) or any other type of accident/damage, exceeds the security deposit being held, then you will not pay anymore than the deposit already provided, unless you have broken the conditions in sections 15,26,27,28). If damage to the interior of the vehicle is sustained in a non automotive accident , you will be liable for the full cost of repair, even if the cost exceeds the amount of the security deposit being held for the term of your hire.5) Windscreen damage is a £250 deduction from the security deposit, as this is the excess amount set by the insurer for windscreens. A spare tyre may or may not provided, if you use more than one spare tyre, you will pay for the cost of replacement for the rest. Roller hire ltd is not obliged to share any details of repair work or costs with regards to any damage caused by the hirer or 3rd party.Security deposits will always be used in the 1st instance to charge the hirer for any damage or costs occurred to Rollerhire Ltd vehicles or property.6) The interior of vehicles are strictly no smoking zones. If smoking is detected on the return off the motorhome. A cleansing charge of £200 will be applied.7) In the event of a breakdown, the Motorhome will be seen to by the breakdown recovery service, if the vehicle can not be repaired. The vehicle will either be returned to the collection point or an authorised dealership for repair.We do not offer a replacement vehicles in these circumstances and we are not liable for any distress or disruption to your holiday. Transport will be arranged for you to get back to the Hire site via the breakdown service vehicle. Your days left on hire will be refunded if you have booked directly with Roller motorhome hire. If there’s no damage to the vehicle that has been caused by you,Then your security deposit will be returned. We advise that you take out your own insurance for any possible disruption in these circumstances.If you misplace the keys to the ignition or the motorhome doors or interior locks, the cost of replacement will be deducted from the security deposit. Roller hire or any third party booking site will not be liable for any costs or for any disruption to your vacation. The vehicle will be towed back to the hire site if replacement keys or locks are not available to be fitted, or when Roller hire believes it is in its best interest to secure the vehicle safely. If you have booked your hire through A third party website, the refund for the lost days of holiday as result of a breakdown will be subject to there terms and conditions of hire.8) The interior and exterior are to be returned in a clean and tidy state or there will be a cleaning charge of £150. The oven and the fridge are to be cleaned before return, A wipe down and sweep of the inside surfaces on a daily basis will make it easier for you to maintain, and a jet wash on the exterior before you return is sufficient. The toilet cassette will need to be empty before the vehicle is returned. We will show you how to empty the cassette in the introductory hand over of the vehicle. If the toilet Cassette is not emptied by you. There will be a charge of £50 deducted from the security deposit.9) This applies to direct hire with Roller Hire only. The booking deposit is refundable if we are not able to provide you with insurance cover for at least one driver. We will request an alternative driver before we fully cancel the booking. If you cancel within 8 weeks of the hire date there will be cancelation charges. If the cancelation is due to restrictions on movement from the hire site with regards to infectious diseases. You will be provided with a refund.If you do not return the t&c form signed. It will be assumed that you have read the conditions and are happy to proceed with the rental and accept our terms and conditions. 10) Only applies to direct bookings with Roller Hire only.We have the right to cancel your booking or hire without explanation at any time before the Hire period. We will in these circumstances return your full amount of deposit and hire charges. We will not be liable for any costs incurred to you. ( an example of why this may happen is if the previous hirer has damaged the vehicle you are about to hire and it is not in a fit state to re hire.) 11) The start time of the vehicle hire can vary and we will endeavour to meet all requests but will normally be from 10am on the day of hire and the return time will be between 3pm to 6pm, unless otherwise agreed in writing.12) The vehicle is not allowed to leave the U.K unless you have opted for EU cover and had it agreed in writing by Roller Hire to obtain eu cover insurance and associated travel documents. If it is found that you have traveled to an undeclared destination or a destination like a festival that is not permitted, Rollerhire will charge you the full security deposit for breach of the hire agreement or for not declaring or misleading us about your destination or intended use for our vehicle..13) The main driver must keep the vehicle keys in their possession at all times. The keys are not to be left in the ignition at any time when the vehicle is not moving. Lost keys or replacement keys will be charged to your security deposit.14) Only the stated driver on the hire agreement is authorised and insured to drive the vehicle unless you have a additional driver on the hire agreement and the relevant documents have been provided.15)If you put the wrong fuel into the vehicle, or put a fluid into the wrong tank, then the cost of repair will be deducted from your deposit, if the costs exceeds the deposit. You will be liable for the full cost of the repair.16) Drivers will be responsible for any or all parking fines or driving penalties. Congestion charges, toll charges or driver related offences.17) You must report any damage or accidents to us within 24 hours and agree to assist us and the insurer in any claims or damages from third party’s. If you report minor damage while on your trip, we will obtain a quote for the repair, so that the amount can be deducted off of your security deposit upon your return.18) By hiring a vehicle from us we believe you have supplied us with genuine documentation and told the truth to the best of your knowledge.19) If the vehicle is not returned on the agreed hour and day at the end of your Hire period. You may be charged an additional £15 for each hour you are late or a full day rate if this exceeds 4 hours.20) If the vehicle is returned early. You will still pay the set agreed amount for the Hire contract unless agreed in writing. You may be eligible for a refund if the early return is due to a breakdown that is not the hirers fault.21)The security deposit will need to authorised online at least 3 days before travel, if your payment is not authorised, roller hire will not release the vehicle. If your licence is defaced, lost or not available on the day of hire, we will not be able to hire the vehicle out to you and all your monies will be non refundable. We are not liable for any issues relating to your deposit not being authorised prior to the day of collection by your bank.22)The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of diesel and it must be returned with a full tank of diesel.23) One way rentals are not available unless agreed, if the vehicle abandoned by the hirer, you will not receive any of your security deposit back. Any costs in recovering the vehicle will be recovered from you. Any damage that the vehicle sustains will also be recovered from you as you did not complete the return check out form.24)The Security deposit will be returned within 7 days if there is no damage to the vehicle but in most cases it will be returned within 48 hours of return if there is no damage. A check out receipt will be provided when you drop the vehicle off to confirm that there is or there not any damage. If the vehicle is returned in the dark, the check out assessment may need to be carried out the following day without you present. ( most deposits returns are put through on the same day of return if there is no damage, they will be subject to the time it takes for the bank to process.)25) Before the driver leaves the Hire site. He or she is under an obligation to take part in a vehicle introduction to familiarise them selves with the function of the vehicle.On return of the vehicle, the hirer is under an obligation to stay for a final examination of the interior and exterior of the vehicle and sign the check out inventory if required by Roller hire. Failure stay for the check out inspection or to sign the check out inventory will result in the loss of your security deposit.26) If there is a traffic incident and it is found that the driver is under the influence drink or drugs, they will be fully liable for all costs of repair to the Motorhome and possible 3rd party’s costs.27) When the vehicle is returned, if the interior is showing signs of drug abuse odours or marks. The hirer will forfeit their entire security deposit for the cleansing of the vehicle.28)The hirer is prohibited from using the vehicle in the following, any Criminal activity or to participate in any motorsport track use, use the vehicle for hire or reward, transporting goods or people for a charge, carrying dangerous substances.29)We require that the vehicle is kept locked at all times when not attended, the vehicle is to be treated with care and respect and to not abuse the vehicle in any way while parked or driving.30)The vehicle you are driving is large and should be parked in a motorhome approved lay byes or car parks that can accommodate its size, you may be able to park in a coach bay if the rules of that car park allow it to be parked there. The cost of parking in a coach park may be more than a normal car charge.
31)Find a suitable area to park at all times. The handbrake must be applied at all times when stationary. Do not park on grass verges and inclines. You muust camp at official campsites or overnight parking areas for motorhomes, off roading and free camping is not permitted.32)If there is an accident. The driver needs to report the incident to the police immediately, and the hire company. The hirer/driver needs to write a detailed statement and sketch. If the information required is not adequate enough for the insurance company, and the insurer fails to repair the vehicle due to the negligence of the driver/hirer. The driver/hirer may be liable for all costs involved in the repair.33) Privacy and data. You agree by hiring a vehicle from us that you are happy for us to store your data in a safe manner and to process the data in order to provide you with the Hire service we will only share your data with 3rd party’s that are directly involved in providing the hire service. Your data will be kept secure at all times. And you have the right to know this and share any concerns you may have.34)Excludes drivers with less than 24 months full UK/EU/USA/Canadian/Australian or New Zealand licence experience. Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary it is hereby understood and agreed the Insurers shall not provide cover if an insured vehicle is being driven by or for this purpose is in the charge of any person with less than 24 months driving experience since obtaining a permanent licence in the UK/EU/USA/Canadian/Australian or New Zealand to drive a vehicle of the same class as the Insured vehicles.Subject otherwise to the terms, exceptions and conditions of this insurance.Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/ or have had their licence endorsed or suspended or more than 6 penalty points imposed. Spent convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act1974 may be disregarded.b) Persons who had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer ) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.d) Jockeys and persons connected with racing of any sort.e) Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age.f) Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years.g) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons holding a full valid United Kingdom or EU licence for two years or more.3. The Insured vehicles shall be driven only by the Hirer or other permitted driver who has completed and signeda Hire Drive Proposal (by each hirer or other permitted driver). Such proposal shall be forwarded on request to the Insurers. The proposal must be completed by the Hirer or other permitted driver in all respects.35) I the driver/hirer agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the insurance which I have seen and read or have had the opportunity to see and read.36)The Hire start date and hire end date is on the checkout form. Failure to return the vehicle by hire end date will allow Roller Motorhome hire to repossess the vehicle from the hirer.37) No pets are allowed in the motorhomes unless you have a written agreement. If upon the return of the vehicle there are any signs of dog odours or dog hair in the motorhome, There will be a cleansing charge of up to £500 deducted from your security deposit.38) If the toilet cassete is not empty or cleaned, there will be a charge of £50 deducted from your security deposit.39) General cancellation policy - General cancellation policy100 % refund if your booking is cancelled 8 weeks before departure.4 to 8 weeks before departure = 70 % refund2 to 4 weeks before departure = 40 % refund0 to 2 weeks before departure = 20 % refund40) Roller Hire will endeavour to keep the website and booking channel up to date but reserve the right to change vehicle spec specifications, amend terms and conditions and alter prices at any time.41) Roller hire reserves the right to withdraw a quotation for motorhome hire or cancel a hire that is already booked if we believe the information provided during booking is false. inaccurate or does not comply with our terms and conditions. In this scenario, we will refund the customer any monies paid. 42) We reserve the right to track our motorhome fleet and activate recovery through tracker services if we believe or have knowledge of any crime, or if the vehicle is not returned on the return date.43) The person that makes the booking or is a driver has an obligation to report any damage internal or eternal whilst the vehicle is on hire or upon return. 44) The person who books is solely responsible for the safe return of the vehicle to roller hire.45) The person to book and the driver is responsible to record any third party details if the vehicle is involved in any accidents/46) Roller motorhome hire is not responsible and has no liability for any personal injury or accident inside or outside the motorhome or whilst in possession of any of our vehicles or whilst at any of our collection or drop off sites.47) Roller motorhome hire is not responsible for any loss or damage to anyones personal belongings left in the motorhome or at the hire site. Any vehicles or belongings are left at the owners risk.48) Roller motorhome hire is not able to provide any insurance cover for belongings or personal injury whilst using our services or vehicles. We advise you to take out your own insurance policy. We are only provide insurance cover to drive the vehicle that has been booked.49) We reserve the right to change the vehicle that is hired or booked for a replacement vehicle or refund your monies. 50) Buy booking or hiring a vehicle from us, you accept all our terms and conditions
